First, let me say I have entered contests like this before and have never won, so I was surprised. Second, I absolutely love this book. For some reason I cannot read a book that is not visually pleasing. There are many fine books that teach you programming, but if they look like a third grade student made the illustrations I cannot read it.  Speaking in Styles is both a great resource as well as something nice to look at.
